Ranga's Toon Tales

Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia

"KEEP smiling as you serve your fellow men to the best of your ability, God bless", so wrote Kenneth Kaunda, President of Zambia and affixed his signature on his sketch. He was on a state visit and during his short stay he came in contact with leaders of different shades of opinion.

He visited a number of places in and around Delhi, including Rajghat where he paid homage to the Father of the Nation.

He also held a Press conference. During his stay in Delhi, Kaunda was impressed by the love and affection shown to him by the people of India.

As he left Delhi, he again remembered Mahatma Gandhi who was his inspiration during his struggle for the independence of his country.
