Log in… Tribune guided
me
When
I read the previous issue of Log in... Tribune, I came across a letter
that said this IT supplement had hit a century. Even I have all issues
filed at my place. I counted all and found this absolutely true. How
time flies. I remember the day when I completed a course in computers
from one of the private IT teaching centres. Despite having put in so
much of money in the course, I could not gain much. Since there is
always a lot of difference between what one learns theoretically and
what happens in real life, a person needs to have a guide. Log in
Tribune became my guide since I chose computers as my career. And this
guide stayed with me through thick and thin. I always read it with gusto
every Monday to remain abreast with the latest news, trends and
happenings. However, I have a suggestion. Why don't you start something
for the beginners? Some column that could teach everyone the basics of
computing. That would serve two purposes. Firstly, it might make a dent
in all fraud computer teaching institutes and secondly, students will
start solving their own problems. They will develop a do-it-yourself
attitude and the aura of complication would vanish from this area. I
wish Login Tribune very best of luck. May it continue to guide every IT
professional the way it guided me.

Keep it up!
I
take this opportunity to congratulate the Tribune family for achieving
the numero uno rank in newspaper with the IT supplement, Log in…
Tribune. I would also like to thank you for publishing my problem in the
previous edition of Log in Tribune. The solution that you had suggested
was very effective and now my PC performance is far better.
