Typosquatting:
Purchasing a domain name that is a variation on a popular domain name
with the expectation that the site will get traffic off of the
original sight because of a user's misspelling of the name. For
example, registering the domain names webapedia.com or yahooo.com in
the hopes that someone making a typo will get to that site
unexpectedly.
Syndication:
The sharing of content among different Web sites. The term is normally
associated with licensed content such as television programs and
newspaper columns.
Fork: To split source code
into different development directions. Forking leads to the
development of different versions of a program. Forking often occurs
when the development of a piece of open source code has reached an
impasse. The project is forked so that the code can be developed
independently in different ways with different results.
