HELLO Friends! Welcome back to our weekly meeting. Happy days are here again as schools are closed and the summer vacations are on. Why not make the best use of the vacation and learn new things while you have fun and also develop some new hobbies.

Cliparti: This is indeed a good idea, friends. Hobbies are also your good friends. If you develop good hobbies, then you can spend the time in a most constructive way and also enjoy yourself at the same time.

Windy: All of us do have some hobbies, but all hobbies are not creative. So, I have found some creative hobby ideas for our friends.

Fluppy: Like what?

Windy: Hey Fluppy! You have given me an instant hobby idea for our friends.

Fluppy: Hmmmm! I am like that. You know.

Windy: Yeah! You are really like that. And your funny face has given me a good hobby idea of cartoon making.

Fluppy: Grrrr! So you mean I look like a cartoon.

Windy: No I did not say that. I only said that your cute a.k.a funny face made me think like that.

Cliparti: Oh! So we are stuck right at the beginning of the chat? Windy, please move ahead and tell us more about this idea. I found the hobby of learning cartoon making a real good hobby. So please go ahead and tell us more.

This is a real great site for learning the art of cartoon making. However, learning to make cartoon making is not the only idea on this site as you can learn many more things like movie making for kids, making a flip book, basic study guides and kids news etc. among others. This is a comprehensive site and has something for everyone.

Cliparti: This is really a wonderful site and I am sure our friends would be able to make most of it, during this summer vacations. Do, you know friends, that cartooning is a great career besides being a hobby and with widening the horizons of media, the professional cartoonists are in big demand and they also draw good salaries. So, you can start off with cartoon making as a hobby and you never know, where you may go from here.

Fluppy: Really Cliparti! Are cartoonists really so much in demand these days?

Windy: As you know Fluppy, With the Internet and e-mail, the barrier of distance and borders have disappeared and there are many professionals who are working on the Internet on a freelance basis for even foreign publications. But don’t be so happy Fluppy! No one is going to employ you.

Fluppy: Hey! I am fully aware of it and right now I am also a kid. And moreover, I am not seeking a job. I am only thinking of this option as a hobby now and may be later as a career. Since for becoming a mature cartoonist, it would take years of hard labour and perfection. So, I guess it is the right time to get going in the right direction. Anyway, you have suggested a great idea, do you know of some other good sites also.

Windy: Yeah! I know of many sites and one of the good sites is www.cooltoons.com. This is a real cool site on the cartoons on the Internet and here you can also learn the art of animation.
