Windy: Ha!Ha!Ha! So for a change, Fluppy is talking sense for the first time. Congratulations Fluppy. Cliparti: Hey! I guess this is not the beginning of another useless conversation between you guys. Anyways before you start your favourite pastime of pulling each other's leg, let me ask Fluppy, what he has been searching on the Web right now. Fluppy: I was browsing this site www.edu4kids.com/tables. It is a great site for practicing the maths tables. In fact, you can learn maths tables quite easily while playing on this site and this makes studies more fun. Cliparti: Yeah indeed Fluppy! Yeah, but why are you learning tables now. Fluppy: You know, the fundamentals in mathematics are most important and I am trying to brush up my fundamentals. Cliparti: Wow that's great. Windy: Huh! Nothing great about it, Cliparti. If someone has done nothing in maths so far, then he has got to start off from somewhere. Fluppy: Well! For you information Windy, I have always topped in Maths so far. Windy: What's so great about it, Fluppy. You must be the only student in your class. Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha. Cliparti: So, finally you guys are back to your favourite pastime. But, let me remind you that this is exam time and we are here to discuss matters related to studies. So, Windy! Do you have anything this week for our friends? Windy: Yes, of course. I have a lot of information to share… Fluppy: Hope it is not only about me. Windy: Huh! Of course it is not about you Fluppy. After all, you are neither such a prominent figure nor you are a role model. Anyways, this week I have found an interesting site www.geocities.com/mickey_prasad/physics.html. This is a great site and has some real brainteasers. For example, how does the compass point north and not south? What makes a parachute land slowly, why don't submarines sink when they move under water, why do we feel warm when we run or exercise, how can a Jet aeroplane move etc. This is quite an interesting site and has good stuff for everyone. You can search common teasers in other subjects like Physics, Biology, Astronomy, etc. Overall it's a good site to visit. Cliparti: That was really a wonderful site. http://pittsford.monroe.edu/Jefferson/CALFIERI/Physics/PhysicsMain.html. This is basically a Physics Website and contains information, quizzes and links on various topics in Physics. On this site you can find information on matter, Energy, Atom, light, sound, magnetism, mechanics and electricity. Windy: That appears to be a good site on Physics. Hey! That reminds me that my next exam is of Physics. I should now go and start studying. Bye friends, see you next week, till then study hard, do well and take care. - Ira Verma |
