Fluppy: That only the time will tell. Anyways, this week I have found www.mathleague.com/help/ help.htm. This is an excellent Website on math related resources and can prove useful to the student, who wants to strengthen the mathematics fundamentals. On this site you can find detailed sections on whole numbers and their basic properties, decimals, whole numbers, and exponents, using data and statistics, fractions, geometry, ratio and proportion, percent and probability, integers, metric units and measurement, introduction to algebra, positive and negative numbers. Cliparti: Wow! That's really a wonderful site Fluppy. Have you explored fully? Fluppy: Oh Yeah! In fact I have been using this site for the whole last week and I gained quite a lot in mathematics fundamentals. Windy: That's really a good site Fluppy. Have you visited the www.askjeeves.com? It has a separate section called study tools, which is dedicated to the various subjects like science, history, dictionary, world atlas etc. You can actually search the information related to all these subjects on this site and get a customised answer. This way you do not have to browse through a whole lot of information to pick the one most relevant to you. For example I asked the question. "What is Photosynthesis" and I got specific links to the answer to this question. Cliparti: That's really wonderful. During the exam time, you are already short of time, therefore, especially in these times, your information could prove very useful for our friends Windy. Thanks for that update. Windy: That's not all, Cliparti. On this site you can also browse through the homework message board, where there are thousands of messages posted by the kids related to various topics e.g. quick help, what books you are reading right now, homework help etc. Fluppy: So you mean I can post my problem on these message board and someone will solve it for me. Windy: That's right Fluppy! You can get you problem solved by others through the message board. But Alas! You cannot put your examination paper on the message board for others to solve it. Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha! Fluppy: Anyways I did not mean that. But it is really a great tip buddy. I can surely utilize it in vacation and can get all my homework done by others. Windy: Alas! The world is not so foolish like you. Cliparti: Hey! Before you carry this argument further, let me also share my piece of information with our friends. Guys! This week I have found some good educational forum's for the senior students. One such forum is http://forums.about.com/ab-homeworkhelp/messages/?msg=580. On this forum you will find some issues related to math. This is a very good forum and has some complex issues related to Algebra. On this forum, you can interact with other users and can discuss you problems. Though you can also find other sections on this forum, but the section for Math is the most Interesting one. I have another information for the science students. There is a site http://homeworktips.about.com/cs/chemistry, where you can find some excellent information on chemistry related subjects. Windy: That's a good piece of information Cliparti. Our senior friends will surely find this information useful. Anyways, with this we have come to an end of our meeting. On this studious note we bid goodbye till next Monday. Till then study hard and take care. Bye. — Ira Verma |
