Members of the volunteer group, Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy, which runs a school for the handicapped where Ghosh studies, say Ghosh suffers from a Spastic athetoid, a medical condition which prevents him from using his hands. 

 

Chinese workers check electronic products at the Taiwan-owned transformer maker Kunshan Project Electronics in Kunshan, 50 km from Shanghai. Taiwan's move to broaden commercial ties with China is likely to get a cautious welcome from Beijing, which hopes deeper economic links will help realise its long-held goal of reunification, analysts said. A key advisory panel to Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian recommended that Taipei replace its policy which restricts trade and investment in China with one advocating "aggressive opening". 

 

Microsoft vice president of Windows and the platform products group Jim Allchin holds up the first production copies of the Windows XP operating system program at Microsoft's internal "ship product party" after the announcement of its release for manufacturing at the company's headquarters in Redmond, Washington. With development of the operating system's software now complete, Windows XP is on-schedule for widespread availability on October 25.
