Kids chat

Go e-shopping with sister for rakhi gift

HEY kids! Welcome back, it’s time for our weekly chat.

Windy: Hi Everyone! Howz life?

Fluppy: Boring as usual. The schools are open and there has been no holiday right since the day schools were opened after summer vacations.

Cliparti: Don’t lose heart dear Fluppy. You are going to have a holiday this week.

Fluppy: How come Cliparti. As far as I know Independence Day is far away. How are we going to have holiday then.

Windy: No point banging head with you Fluppy… It’s Raksha Bandhan this Saturday. Has your sister not told you that?

Fluppy: No! She is not here.

Cliparti: Then where she is?

Fluppy
: She has gone to the university for further studies and I shall be missing her badly this Raksha Bandhan.

Cliparti: Honey! Don’t be so sad. Even my brother would not be around this Raksha Bandhan. But then why lose heart, we are cyber age kids and can always meet in the cyber world.

Windy: Right there Cliparti! You can send rakhi online to your brother at www.trade-india.com/home/rakhi in India as well as abroad.

Cliparti: Well Windy! This is indeed a good site for Raksha Bandhan. But there is another site www.virtualrakhi.com where you can send virtual rakhi to your brother almost instantly. Moreover there are many Rakhi wallpapers and screen savers available on this site that can be downloaded on your computer, which can further add colours to the festival.

Fluppy: Can I send gifts also from this site to my sister?

Cliparti : Yeah! You can also send gifts from this site to your sister.

Windy: But these gifts are not virtual, you miser, Fluppy. You will have to shell out pocket money for that.

Fluppy: I am not a miser like you, Windy. I have saved my pocket money for buying gifts for my sister.

Cliparti: Ceasefire…Ceasefire. Remember we were chatting about this festival of love. How come you have started fighting?

Windy: Anyways!

Cliparti: Fluppy! You can also send greetings cards and messages to your sister from this site.

Fluppy: Yeah I have also searched a few sites on Raksha Bandhan. One of the good sites is www.mubarakho.com. On this site you can send Shockwave and text cards to your brother and sister. These cards are well designed and cute. You can also send cards in regional languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam. Tamil, Urdu, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Bhojpuri and also Punjabi.

Windy: Wow! That’s great. Even I am aware of one site on Raksha Bandhan. This is www.homeindia.com. On this site you can find a lot of interesting stuff on rakhi and can send rakhi, sweets and gifts to your brothers and sisters. However for sending rakhi greetings I found www.dgreetings.com/rakhi/indexani.htm quite interesting. This cards site is not just for the rakhi but also for a number of other occasions.

Fluppy: By the way Windy! What are you giving your sister on rakhi.

Windy: Good Wishes…

Fluppy: That’s it now, who’s miser? Every brother gives good wishes and love to their sister, but good brothers also give a nice rakhi gift.

Cliparti: Yeah Fluppy is right Windy. Tell us what gift you are going to give to your sister.

Windy: Well! I have not decided yet, but I will take my sister for online shopping right on the Internet and will buy her whatever she would like.

Cliparti: That’s like a good brother

Fluppy: Even I liked the idea. Okay I might also do the same but where will I go. I do not know any site.

Windy: You can find some good ideas for gifts at www.trade-india.com/home/rakhi and can even buy these gifts online.

Cliparti: I know of site called www.indiaatitsbest.com/Society_and_Culture/Festivals. This is a good site for festival gifts including Raksha Bandhan.. And there is another site www.indiaplaza.com/index.shtml, which has a wide variety of gifts to shop online. Fluppy you can get good ideas on this site.

Windy: That’s good information. Ok Fluppy lets go online and start searching for good gifts
