Learn mathematics
and map reading
Hello kids and
welcome to another journey to the cyberworld.
www.3.sympatico.ca/eureka7/kids2.htm
This is perfect kids
software. Looking for some help in some subject and at some grade
level? Come here and help yourself. Get your young ones introduced to
letters of the alphabets with graphics and sounds. For the older one
you can teach basics of map reading or teach him to identify the
animal by its silhouette. For a still older one introduce astronomy,
talk about stars, solar system, planets, satellites, eclipses, and
meteors etc. You can also teach him borrowing, no, not borrowing money
but borrowing whole numbers while subtracting. You can also take 2
boys to a camping trip where they learn mathematics and map, yes, map
reading in a more adventurous way. All this is yours at symatico.

You always thought
mathematics is a man’s play and not your cup of tea. For women is
arts and music! Wake up! times have changed. In fact, you’ll find
loads and loads of women mathematicians. What’s more, I can even
quote some of the first Ph. Ds in mathematics by women before 1930.
You will have to see to believe how many prizes, awards and honours
women have received for mathematics. Find their names, photo credits
and read their biographies. Read them and get inspired, for you can
also aim to be one in the list. Now that one mentions it, don’t you
think it is quite natural for women to excel in maths. Well, aren’t
they more logical and level-headed than men?
Hey, mister why are
you making a face??

Maths, Maths
everywhere. Play games and keep a score. Want to know time, count
money, bake a cake, find a radio station — everywhere maths is
there. God, how I hate maths.
But now there is no
reason to hate maths. Easy to learn and easy to understand are the
ways how Framingham tackles maths. Get homework help or learn new
concepts and of course Dr. Maths is always at your service to answer
all your queries on maths. From k-12, college and advanced maths, all
is here. For our budding mathematicians, there are illustrated and
animated programs explaining maths terms. Lots of conversions from
fraction to decimal, from inches to feet, yard to inches, from
Fahrenheit to Celsius, all are at framingham.com/math. Log on to it
and see how maths can be as simple as, well, you know what!

This is a visible
human radiological atlas. Yes, an interactive guide to the human
anatomy. You can explore real gross, CT and MRI images of a single
cadaver. Fully labelled, each image modality can be viewed with a
click. Covering 50 axial sections, with original 1mm slice images,
this program is a perfect companion for all anatomical studies.
