Wearing mock computers over their heads, workers from Internet venture firms, dragged computers down the streets during a protest at Teheran-ro Vally, in southern Seoul. Over a hundred workers at Teheran-ro Vally, the cradle of the country's Information Technology industry, protested last week to demand better working conditions and job security. 

 


Aditya Patil, the youngest Microsoft-certified system engineer, a student of Class VII in Pune, Maharashtra, will proceed for his postgraduate course in software engineering at Oxford, UK.

 


A model in Bombay displays a Compaq pocket PC after it was launched for the first time in India. The handheld computer, which weighs 170 grams, including the battery, has 32 MB of memory. Compaq is planning to sell the handheld device on the Indian market for Rs 35,000 ($ 755).
