Packing for a picnic

Picnic is such fun,

A day before I was on the run

To pack this and to pack that,

To pack everything I had.

I packed a camera,

For taking photographs,

And a book of jokes,

For having laughs.

I took a pack of biscuits,

And a box of chocolates,

Along with a bottle of juice,

To share with my classmates.

Wondering if something was left,

I remembered soon,

To take an umbrella,

To escape from sun in noon,

After packing everything,

I waited for my friend to ring,

And when it happened so,

I was ready to go.

A true friend

A true friend is the jewel of life,

He is the one who shows the right path even in a dark night.

False friends float like straws on the sea,

True friend is like the treasure hidden beneath.

True friend is like a mirror,

Which shows one his real image.

True friend is like the wind which takes away all tensions,

And at every spot he teaches us a moral lesson.

True friend is the one on whom we can have faith,

And with whom we can share our sorrows and joys.

A true friend is always close to our heart,

Even if he is flying high in the sky as a bird.

To say more about a true friend,

Is to show a candle to the sun.

Merry Christmas

The bells ring,

The flowers bloom.

Lord is born

In the stable room,

Christ is come

Though virgin mother

He is God himself

None other.

Oh! happy, happy, happy is the day,

Lets sing Merry Christmas all the way.
