Prize distribution function

SAMRALA, Dec 17 — The annual prize distribution function of Senior Secondary School, Bija, was held here today under the presidentship of Ms Usha Sidhu, DEO, Ludhiana. Ms Jasbir Kaur, CEO, Nabha, was the chief guest.

Meenakshi Verma and Maninderjit Kaur won the poetry and declamation contests, respectively. In the science competition of the tehsil-level, the first prize was bagged by Meenakshi Verma and in the youth activities Dalip Kaur won the first prize. An exhibition was inaugurated by the CEO.

Dr Ajit Singh Dhoom of the PAU, Dr G.S. Mawi, Dr Daljit Singh Khurana, Dr Labh Singh Gill, Dr Anjana Kalra, Dr Saini and Prof Gurbax Singh Bija were among those who addressed the gathering.
