• Producer-director Deepak Bahry has left on a month-long tour of the UK, the USA and Canada to scout for locations for Parwana. With Ajay Devgan and Amisha Patel sharing the lead, the film is scheduled to roll in early November.
  
  

• Anupam Kher has been added to the cast of Jaal — The Trap and took part in a week-long shoot at different parts of Bombay. Starring Sunny Deol, Tabu, Amrish Puri and Jackie Shroff, the film is being directed by Guddu Dhanoa.
  
  

•  The entire unit of Border Hindustan Ka has taken off on a 35-day, non-stop shoot at Agra and Delhi. Director Yogesh Bharadwaj is to film many romantic, dramatic and emotional scenes on lead stars Faisal Khan, Priya Gill, Rajat Bedi and Aditya Pancholi.
  
  

• Director Partho Ghosh has completed a 25-day, marathon shoot for Panchhi at various locations in the United States. Four songs and some romantic scenes were filmed on lead stars Manoj Bajpai, Mahima Chaudhury, Vikram Saluja and Sharad Kapoor.
  
  

• Music composer Shrawan recorded a quawwali as the title number of Yeh Dil Aashiqana with Alka Yagnik, Sonu Nigam and the Sabri Brothers as the lead singers. With Kuku Kohli as director, the film is making rapid progress.
  
  

• After a 15-day, non-stop schedule in Pune, producer-director Suneel Darshan has shifted location to Nataraj Studios in Bombay for another fortnight-long shoot for Ek Rishta — The Bond of Love. The film has Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Juhi Chawla and Karishma Kapoor in the leads.
  
  

• Many action and dramatic scenes were filmed over a 20-day shoot for Chandni Bar at different locations of Mumbai. Lead stars Atul Kulkarni, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Preeti Khare participated in the shooting with Madhur Bhandarkar, the director.
  
  

• Actor-producer Sujit Kumar has wrapped up the filming of Champion. With Padam Kumar as writer and director, the film has Sunny Deol, Manisha Koirala, Deepak Parasher and Tom Alter leading the cast.
