A strange language

The English language is very strange.

Strange are its rules that we can’t change.

The past tense of blow is blew,

But that of slow is never slew.

The past tense of sit is sat,

But why is hit never hat?

The plural of ox is oxen,

But box is boxes and never boxen.

The plural of man is men,

Why shouldn’t the plural of can be cen?

Past tense of bite is bit.

But then cite is never cit.

So English! I fancy, you all will agree,

Is the strangest language we ever did see.

A better dream

One night I had a dream,

I felt my mouth was full of cream.

I couldn’t believe my eyes,

Believe me, I never tell lies.

Then the alarm bell rang.

For getting up late, I got scolded.

I thought, what a dream was it,

That cheered me up a little bit.

A little sweet, a little lime,

I hoped for a better dream next time.

Keep smiling....

Keep a smile on your face

as it adds to your grace

Always smile, don’t be sad

otherwise things will become even more bad

A smile is like a minute ray of light

but is sharp enough to make dull conditions bright

A smile can change your life’s trends

and can even turn enemies to friends

Greet others with a smile to create a good impression

remember your smile is your first introduction

Smiling helps you develop your personality

that you can make impossible things a reality

A smiling face remains in the memories of all

but they soon forget a crying soul

A smiling face is liked by all, so smile please

to make yourself and others at ease

If you want to have a good profile

please carry yourself with a smile

If you want to win the hearts of others

just keep smiling in all weathers

Smile a lot as it costs nothing

but in return pays many things

So if you want a happy living

Keep smiling and keep smiling.....
