Nine months after the Internet trading arrived in India, only 18 brokers offer Web-based access to the stock market, but their marketing strategies have rattled an offline broker community of more than 8,000.

NH Japan Holdings Ltd (NHJ) Chief Operations Officer Shinji Ogata shows off the V@mp MP3 wrist music player in Tokyo.The 64MB virtual music player-wristwatch, weighing 45 grammes and equipped with a voice recording function, was jointly developed by NHJ and Nichimen Corporation trading company. V@mp, priced at 34,000 yen ($ 320 appx.) in Japan, will go on sale at the end of this month in Japan, the USA, Germany and Britain, the companies said.
