NEW YORK, Sept 13 — Exuding an open arms policy, Prime Minister A. B. Vajpayee called upon the captains of industry at the US-India Business Summit here today to accept a target of $ 5 billion foreign investment flows in 2001 and treble it to $ 15 billion in the next three years.

Sikh delegation meets PM
NEW YORK, Sept 13 — It was “a healing touch” of sorts when a 27-member delegation of Sikh organisations and gurdwaras met Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in his suite at Hotel Waldorf Astoria here last evening and greeted him with “jaikaras” — “Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal”.

Top hospitals face action

(PPCB) has issued notices to seven top hospitals in the state threatening to initiate prosecution proceedings against them for failing to create adequate facilities for proper disposal of bio-medical waste.
