Rates vary in city
Dear Sir,
We have an association of computer traders and
professionals in Chandigarh. It was indeed a pleasure to see Log in….
Tribune on Mondays. The articles published had the depth and
knowledge level expected from a reputed daily like The Tribune.
However, the section, latest offering was a
disappointment.
The prices published are the prices prevailing in
Delhi and do not take into account the local levies of Chandigarh. Other
factors such as freight, warranty terms etc. too seem to have skipped
the mind.
The Tribune is a widely circulated daily in this
region and shapes the minds of its readers. May we request you to please
check out the prevailing prices in Chandigarh and publish the same? In
an event you wish to continue publishing the Delhi prices, please
mention the following:
1.Freight is extra
2.Local levies in Chandigarh are extra viz. 4.4 per
cent.
Also, in Delhi the warranty terms on all products are
carry in. For on sight warranty, the charges are extra.
Such things should be made clear so that a local
customer in Chandigarh does not feel that he has been taken for a ride.
