An ode Even with both my hands lifted, I couldn’t have ever been gifted, With mom and dad so special like you, Who stand by me in whatever I do. It’s in you, I find so much to gain, Your presence is like comfort in pain. Whenever you are around, It seems happiness is just waiting to be found. It’s in you I find the answer to my every query, It’s because of you I celebrate my success, my glory, It’s because of your love my life is worthwhile, I am able to traverse all troubles with a smile. It’s your strength, your persistence, That makes worthy my existence. Thanks for being so understanding, so moderate, And that’s how together we celebrate, Every moment every day, With fun and frolic. Thanks for giving me values so concrete, With sincere regards, I bow my head to touch your feet, I say that from my heart’s deepest core, Even with lifted hands, I couldn’t have asked for more...

Dreams I dream about you, I guess, this is what even you do. God at times flashes the dreams, I wonder what they mean? Do they really put light on my future? Or they are a part of miracles of nature? These dreams occupy a very special place, In my heart. Where I can live to full capacity, With you in the world of my fantasy. As it is I’ve been living in my these dreams, With your love in my life as a major theme. But still I hope my dreams will come true when you’ll be with me and I’ll be with you — AARTI GOYAL, Class X,LAWRENCE SCHOOL, SANAWAR
Sweet memories Friends are far away, but memories near. Hearts are miles apart, but still they cheer. Cheer because a hope still shines through. A hope which is embedded in those unforgettable moments, Covered with the dust of time. One day a storm will come, wiping every speck of dust, And every hope will brighten and every heart lighten. Like mist upon sea, Friends meet never to part again — SURBHI NARANG,CLASS X, ST. JOSEPH'S CONVENT SCHOOL, BATHINDA |
