Cyber Kids

Hello! I am cyber kid Shirish. I will navigate with you in the world of fun, education & information on the Internet.

Friends, Internet is a galaxy of information and, amazingly, it has a lot for us. In this section I will keep you updated with the latest on education & information.

Internet Public Library

http://www.ipl.org/youth

Internet public library, or IPL, is a very hot site for seeking a wide variety of information. You can find links for information on dictionaries, encyclopaedias, computers, Internet, countries & culture, books and pictures, mathematics, sport & recreation, science, arts, music and lots of fun stuff, too. The section on references is very good and informative. If you are a math wizard, then you can sharpen your skills here. It’s good for young Net surfers.

Cool science for curious kids

Do u know why are snakes like lizards, and monkeys like moose? Even I don’t know the answer. However, you can find answers to such curious questions on this site. Often we get bowled over by such questions as nobody teaches this kind of stuff. But this interactive site offers a very good way of learning curious things in an easy way.

New York Public Library

Visit the Birmingham zoo without going to Britain, or the Florida aquarium right in your room. Well, this is all possible right on your desk and in the comfort of your home. Log on to the New York Public Library and enjoy. This site is not just about visiting places; it actually has a treasure of information. So you can search on books, magazines of your interest and even tease your grey cells under the science & technology section. This site has lots of sections covering a wide range of information. An excellent site for all cyber kids.

This site has games, activities and resources for students who are studying math, social studies, or science. On this site you can also enter into a “Brain teaser contest,” which is open till August 16, 2000, and win prizes.

Kids Click

You can search your information by either using a keyword, letters, or by using well-organised categories. The search is quite fast and accurate.
