Registration starts at vet college LUDHIANA, July 24 Veterinary College in Punjab Agricultural University is abuzz with activity as the registration process for the first, second and third-year students started today. According to Dr R.P. Sehgal, Dean, College of Veterinary Sciences, the registration for these students was held a day ahead of others so as to avoid confusion. The course curriculum
for the bachelor of veterinary science and animal
husbandry degree programme is laid by the Veterinary
Council of India. The VCI regulations regarding the
introduction of the external evaluation system for the
B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree programme were implemented with
effect from the academic session 1998-99. |
Rotary Club selects Sarabha
Nagar school LUDHIANA, July 24 New Senior Secondary School, Sarabha Nagar, has been selected by Rotary Club, Ludhiana, for the formation of Interact Club. This club, which will comprise middle, high and senior secondary students will take up projects relating to personality development of the students, academics, extra-curricular and extra mural activities, including career counselling, tree plantation, traffic safety, blood donation etc. The Rotary Club authorities have also assured us that they would provide guidance and monetary help to this newly formed club. This announcement was
made at a function held on Saturday , July 22. The chief
guest of the function was PDG Rtn. Narinder K. Sud
(Honble Justice Pb. and Haryana High Court). The
school has achieved another milestone in getting the new
Interact Club formed for the all-around development of
the students in collaboration with the Rotary Club,
Ludhiana. |
