NEW DELHI, May 27 — The edifice of Indian cricket was today torn further apart by the damning disclosures on match-fixing in a secretly produced 90-minute videotape in which former Test all-rounder Manoj Prabhakar got off-guard players and administrators to make some stunning revelations.

Sidhu evades media
PATIALA, May 27 — After over 48 hours of intense drama, speculation and suspense regarding the mystery of the whereabouts of former Test cricketer Navjot Sidhu, the bubble finally burst today when it was confirmed that the cricketer was in town for the last two days.

Prabhakar ‘no less guilty’
NEW DELHI, May 27 — Former cricketer Manoj Prabhakar, who claims to have taken the lead in cleansing the game of betting, is himself involved in match fixing, says Outlook in the magazine’s June 5 issue.

5 militants killed in Baramula
SRINAGAR, May 27 — Five militants and a security force jawan were killed in an encounter in Behrampora area of Baramula district last night, while militants hurled grenades at three places causing minor damages in the valley since yesterday.

50,000 war-hit live like refugees
JAMMU, May 27 — The Kargil war was over a year ago but for the over 50,000 persons, the war for survival is not over. This is the fate of several hundred families from over 40 border villages of Akhnoor and R.S. Pora sectors who have been leading a life of refugees under tattered tents.
