Death

DEATH is here at my feet,
It is scaring me; it is making me weep.
It is knocking at the door,
It is walking on the floor.
It is walking up the stairs,
I want to hide from it.......... but where?
It is hovering near my chair,
I cry; for the feeling of death I cannot bear.
But death has to come to everybody,
Like you..........like me.
So, dear friends goodbye,
For now I am going to die.
But don’t worry,
For, once again on wintry night or a sunny morn,
I will be reborn.

Smile, come what may!

Smile come what may,
for it keeps problems at bay.
A smiling face is like a bright sunshine,
which keeps you fit and fine
Smile when something troubles you,
A positive smile heralds a positive day,
for the pessimist, it brings a glimmer of ray.
Smiling is contagious,
dark clouds of worry are cleared thus.
And happy days pile up
when you smile, smile and smile.

Parents

You are like a prayer to me.
Life seems to be a inscorching heat,
without your shade.
How can I ever think of loosing my way,
When you are holding my hand so
close to yours and
When yours footprints are before my eyes.
You are the breath that I take,
And thought that I think.
You are my every thing and,
Nothing compares to you.
My life is all your’s,
Because all my dreams belongs to you.
