The beauty of nature

THE trees are swinging
The grass is green
And a beautiful glimpse of nature
Can clearly be seen.
The river looks like
Frozen ice
And the dew drops on leaves
Look very nice.
How sweet it smells
Where the roses dwell
And the sea brings to us
Most unusual shells.
At night we see
The twinkling stars
They look very pretty
From very far.
The first rays of sun
Our eyes
And then we think
How pretty nature can be.
The birds are chirping
On the top of trees
And the air is filled with
The humming of bees.
This glamourous scene
Has our eyes caught
O’my dear nature
I love you a lot.

Life after life

Is life after life
Something to be believed?
When my heart stops beating
My body ceases to breathe
and just my soul resides
I still exist,
Do I?
In a world, beyond my imagination
Close to my lord,
Above pride ‘and’ prejudice
Where I don’t strive for hunger or
Or thirst
Wealth or pelf,
No love, no hate
No desire, no worry
Just me and my lord
We are together, again
But forever
In life after life!

— Shweta Bhalla

The root of all evil

Money is the root of all evil,
And greed of money, makes man a devil.
Man loves money,
like a bee loves honey.
Today, man wants to accumulate more wealth,
without caring even a bit about his health.
Money leads to many crimes,
now for man, hoarding money is prime.
I feel, in life the biggest thing is satisfaction,
Money doesn’t make the difference even by a fraction.
