programme: The local unit of the Bharat
Vikas Parishad (BVP) held an annual programme for
students at Bal Vidya Niketan Sainik School here

Raising Day: The 11 Corps of the
Indian Army, widely known as "Vajra
Corps", celebrated its 49th Raising Day
somewhere in the western sector on Monday.

Shaheedi samagam: The Bahujan Samaj
Party (BSP) will organise a state-level
"shaheedi samagam" on March 25 in
Ludhiana which will be addressed by Mr Kanshi
Ram, President, BSP. The party will announce its
programme related to the celebration of the
Khalsa birth tercentenary on April 13. This was
stated by Mr C.D. Kamboj, President, BSP, Punjab,
while addressing a shaheedi conference at Daon
village on Sunday.
MOGA
Inaugurated: The Punjab Health Minister,
Mr Manoranjan Kalia, on Monday inaugurated the
Mittal Lab and CT Scan Centre near the canal rest
house. He was accompanied by the Punjab Education
Minister, Mr Tota Singh, the Deputy Commissioner,
Moga, Mr Kulbir Singh Kang and the Senior
Superintendent of Police, Mr Sharad S. Chavan.

Medical camp: A free medical check-up
organised by the local branch of the State Bank
of India concluded here on Sunday. About 200
patients suffering from various dental and chest
problems were examined.
