Thursday: Cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh and Delhi. The weather was dry in the region.

Night temperatures fell in Haryana and changed little in Punjab and H.P. These were below normal in Haryana and Punjab normal in Himachal Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.4°C recorded at Amritsar.
