A different world
WE'RE stepping into a new
millennium,
A world thats different.
Well make new rules,
Science will invent new tools.
In a world with shrinking space,
Amazing things well face.
A world with no ignorance and little illiteracy,
Each will have a happy life and privacy.
New sun will rise,
Everyone will be more wise.
Oh! but the world will be very busy,
To live alone will not be easy.
Hope the picture in the millennium will be rosy,
Where everyone will feel cosy.

New millennium
Welcome to the new
millennium, be He kind to all,
May all be happy and prosperous rich, poor, big
and small.
Be it lusterous, glorious and gay,
Each and every year, be auspicious, month and day.
Be pollution-free air and water, pollution-free sky,
Pollution-free be heart and soul, doves of love and peace
fly.
Be every home heaven on earth, and be there no sorrow no
gloom,
Be there a smile on every face, let every flower dance
and bloom.
Be all creatures fearless ant, elephant alike,
Have they love and only love for one another no enmity or
dislike
God is great, great is His benevolence be He kind to all,
Be new millennium be an era of happiness,
May God shower joy upon all.

Christmas
ON Christmas Day, we
make a Christmas tree.
As this day is a holiday, so we are free;
Some make jelly-bellies and cakes,
While some have a dish of corn-flakes.
Santa Claus will come, this children think
And give them the toys, games or a golden ring;
They hang their stockings that are big enough:
So that Santa Claus can put in more and more stuff.
To get blessings, people go to churches;
They distribute cards and flowers in bunches.
Leave on this day all the hatred and sorrow,
So that in future you dont need love to borrow.
