asked the Chandigarh Administration to hammer out an
out-of-court solution to the 18-year old dispute between

Driver acquitted inaccident case

Contractor told to re-lay
channels
SAS NAGAR Dec 1 Following reports of poor
quality of curb channels being laid by a private
contractor in Phase X here, the engineering cell
of the local municipal council has directed the
contractor to immediately relay them, failing
which payment will not be released.
Syal gets remand
till Dec 15
CHANDIGARH Dec 1 Director of Marigold
Forests Rajesh Syal, accused of duping investors,
was today further remanded to judicial custody
till December 15 by the UT Judicial Magistrate
(First Class), Mr Pushvinder Singh. He had
surrendered before the court on November 3.
