4-year-jail for two snatchers

The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge KK Kareer today sentenced two youths to four years of imprisonment in a snatching case.

Chandigarh, December 15

The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge KK Kareer today sentenced two youths to four years of imprisonment in a snatching case. The accused are habitual offenders.

The convicts, Sonepal and Kulwinder, were arrested by the UT police in July 2013 after they snatched a mobile from Himanshu, a resident of Burail.

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 2,500 each on the convicts.
