LUDHIANA: The police booked three persons, including a woman, in a rape case.

Ludhiana, December 17

The police booked three persons, including a woman, in a rape case. The accused have been identified as Rupinder Singh, Balwinder Kaur and Sardool Singh, residents of Lalto Kalan.

The mother of the victim said Rupinder Singh, the main accused, took the girl to his relative’s place and raped her.

She said Rupinder raped her daughter in front of the co-accused and they threatened her not to inform any one about it.

The complainant said the girl was a student of Class XI at a government school. The accused used to tease her girl at the village.

The police have registered a case under Sections 376, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code at the Sadar police station. No arrest has been made so far.
