Woman raped at knife point

A married woman was allegedly raped at knife point by a youth at Shekhupur Daroli village here.

Fatehabad, December 3

A married woman was allegedly raped at knife point by a youth at Shekhupur Daroli village here.

The incident occurred on November 24 but the woman filed a complaint with the police today.

The police booked the accused Anil, a resident of Kuwari village of Hisar, under Sections 376-D, 323 and 506 of the IPC. However, accused has not been arrested.

The woman alleged that the accused, who is her husband’s maternal cousin, came to her house when she was alone and made obscene gestures at her. When she protested, Anil allegedly placed a knife on her neck and raped her. He also threatened to kill her, her husband and children if she narrated the incident to anyone.

“Anil came again on Friday and asked her to accompany him. When she refused, he slapped her,” she alleged.

Following this, she narrated the incidents to her husband who brought her to the police station.
