Rawat to visit fire-affected village today

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat will visit Saavni village in Mori tehsil of Uttarkashi district tomorrow to meet the families affected by the fire which broke out on Friday morning.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat will visit Saavni village in Mori tehsil of Uttarkashi district tomorrow to meet the families affected by the fire which broke out on Friday morning. 

A relief of Rs 3,800 per family has been released. Relief material comprising 25 family tents, two kitchen tents, 30 tarpaulin sheets, 196 blankets, 100 mattresses, 46 steel buckets, 46 steel jugs, 46 plastic cans, 46 torches, 40 solar lights, 50 gas stoves, 50 pressure cooker and other utensils have already reached the village. 

Officer in charge at District Disaster Management and Mitigation Office Anurag Arya has been made the nodal officer. — TNS
