Four killed in road accident

DEHRADUN: Four youths were killed and another injured when the car they were travelling fell into a gorge near Mandakhal on Bhoowakhal-Ramnagar road in Pauri Garhwal district on Monday evening.

Four youths were killed and another injured when the car they were travelling fell into a gorge near Mandakhal on Bhoowakhal-Ramnagar road in Pauri Garhwal district on Monday evening.

The victims were returning home after celebrating a friend’s birthday when the incident took place. Of the five victims, Manjit Negi (23), Madhav (22) and Abhishek Rawat (24) died on the spot, while Rahul Bisht succumbed to injuries while being taken to hospital.  Vivek Bhushan, the lone survivor, is being treated at Dehradun.
