Indian War Loans

RAI Bahadur Amar Nath, Secretary, War Loan Committee, Lahore, has issued a circular to the residents of Lahore, town and district, inviting their attention to the terms of the Indian War Loan. He exhibits the three forms of investment, War Bonds, Cash Certificates and 5 per cent. War Loan, in a highly attractive style, exhorts people to avail themselves of these liberal terms to their own benefit and to the advantage of the State. This is well calculated to impress people how advantageous the forms are. For instance, with reference to the 5-year Cash Certificates it says: "For persons having children growing up, who have to save money for the education of their sons, for the dowries of their daughters, or for windows who have to lay by something for their maintenance, the above is the best and safest investment offered so far anywhere in the world."
