SAD releases video footage of ‘poll rigging’ in MC elections in Patiala

Patiala, March 19

The Shiromani Akali Dal on Monday released a video footage of alleged poll rigging and bogus voting during the Municipal Corporation elections in Patiala.

The CD was sought under the RTI from the Deputy Commissioner in Patiala.

Senior leader Surjit Singh Rakhra said that they would gherao the Vidhan Sabha tomorrow over the issue. 

Rakhra said, “We will seek justice at any cost,” adding, “Will first file a memorandum to the Patiala DC seeking action and then approach the High Court in this regard.”
