Patiala, March 1

The Central Government has released an additional grant of Rs 10 lakh for Punjabi University.

The university has initiated eco-clubs in its 100 affiliated colleges with the amount.

The state nodal agency of the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change of the Government of India had issued a grant of Rs 10 lakh to the Department of Environmental Sciences at the university to implement the environment education programme in Punjab.
