Ludhiana, January 20
The Municipal Corporation is planning to act against alleged illegal construction at Grand Walk Mall on Ferozepur Road as a fresh notice has been issued to the mall authorities. The mall is owned by a close aide of former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Municipal Commissioner Jaskiran Singh confirmed that the mall authorities had been asked to remove the violations within five days.
The civic body issued a notice to the mall against the alleged violations of building bylaws in August. The MC had dismantled some portion of encroached land, which was used as a parking lot outside the mall. — TNS
