The play: Last Over
On: Sunday, November 19
Starring the well known film actor Rakesh Bedi and Ananth Mahadevan, the play Last Over is a breezy situational urban comedy which depicts the story of a young married couple and the relationship they share. Since the boy is Indian and the girl, a Pakistani, there are plenty of cultural references that make the plot interesting and keep the audiences hooked. What’s more, the play is set against the backdrop of the cricket World Cup, so when the characters aren’t talking all things India-Pakistan, they’re discussing cricket! Both being the favourite talking points of desi audiences.
The play: Dreamz-Saher

Another star studded play Dreamz-Saher will explore the blurred zone between dreams and reality that sometimes leaves a deep yet inexplicable impact on one’s life. And it’s quite literally so the play revolves around professor Sanjay Mishra, played by Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapur, who goes to Kasauli for a holiday and encounters a strange woman, Saher (Supriya Pathak Kapur). At the end of the 45-minute long play, the audience is left a little stumped, suspended in a vaccum, not quite knowing if the play has really ended.
The play: Bhishmotsav

Bhishmotsav is a collage of short plays based on Bhisham Sahni’s work. The play reflects the versatile talents of Bhisham Sahni and director Seema Bhargava Pahwa in various forms. Bhishmotsav’s, a collection of short plays based on Sahni’s works has been directed by Seema Bhargava Pahwa and recently presented at Epicentre. Amazing stories, stellar cast and seasoned direction led to an impeccable production, a rare treat to watch indeed.
The timing for all plays is 6.30 PM and the entry tickets @ Rs 300/- and Rs 500/- are available at Tagore Theatre.
