Today fashion blogging has turned into a business, where followers turn into buyers. We bring you some avid fashion bloggers from Tricity… 

Cultural goal

“Promoting turban and making Sikh style versatile” was the aim of the first Sikh fashion bloggers from Tricity. Santwinder Singh Waraich effectively launched his fashion career with singhflash.wordpress.com in 2015 along with his friend Aman Preet. They have about 42.k followers. 

Confortable in their skin

Another blogger, Rubby Singh, says, “Fashion for me is how you carry yourself.” In her blog thatchicsupergirl.blogspot.in, she describes her style as ‘bipolar’, which makes it different from other bloggers.

Meher Kaur Cheema started her blog wigglycurlywiggles.blogspot.in in 2016 when she saw that young woman of her age were under-confident about their looks. “Be it a curvy or a skinny body shape, I want to make women respect what they have been gifted with.”

Mixing and matching has always been in trend. You can see a lot of mixing and matching on www.toomuchjazz.com.  Jaspreet Kaur belives in mixing style with comfort. 

“Start with what you have. Along the journey, you will surely polish yourself and your style,” she says. Soon, Jaspreet is coming out with her own YouTube channel.

“Take up blogging only if you’re willing to do more than just clicking OOTDs,” says Karina Bedi, who got inspired by Sazan Barzani, a Kurdish lifestyle blogger and started blogging on – www.styledbykarina.com and has gained widespread popularity on Instagram with 16.6k followers. Her style is street-chic, keeping it clean and classy!

One can do fashion blogging along with one’s career. Gurbani Buttar got inspired by Amal Clooney and started blogging on www.spanglestreet.com. “I was earlier the stylist for my family and friends. But later I took it seriously and started my blog.”
