Condemnable act

Piracy is a crime. Just like smuggling and black-marketeering. One should think about the hard work and money put in by the makers. Film-making is a hard task, people not buying tickets and seeing a film online is injustice to those who invest their time and energy for making it. It is our moral responsibility to respect this.

With growing dependency on the internet, it gets tough to control people falling for easier, watchable mediums. Therefore, piracy is a huge market, which has to be dealt with in a very strict way. Unluckily, this is not being taken seriously and we see piracy happening every other day, resulting in big losses for people involved with the movie. There have to be stringent laws against this.

It is sad that people indulge in piracy. A producer invests money to make a film and the efforts of so many people are involved. The solution to this is that as technology is growing, something should be discovered that can secure the film online. Phones or cameras shouldn't be allowed in the theatres.

The solution is to introduce cheap movie tickets, maybe for 100 rupees. I think the movie business overall will increase and the culture of buying pirated DVDs will also be eradicated.

That's horrible! It is a crime against all those people who put in their sweat, toil and hard work for long periods of time, driven by unflinching passion, just for their stories to reach to an audience in the right way. This crime has to be taken more seriously.

I think to stop this one has to check people who go for screenings. Generally, people do this to get some more money. It really hurts those who have put in so much hard work, time, money and passion to make a film.

I think the more technology continues to make our life comfortable, the more the vulnerability of every individual will increase. I feel one should not make pirated copies and spoil the hard work put in by so many people.

Well, it's sad to hear such news. I heard it's a great film. And it's been already selected for Oscars. Films have been leaked earlier also and it is so sad to know that people continue to spoil good films. But I know this film will get more than its worth.
