Jasmin Basin, who is currently seen in Dil Se Dil Tak, talks about the show’s unique concept, reality shows & more

What is the concept of the show Dil Se Dil Tak?

The concept is surrogacy, which is a great gift of science to us. If, unfortunately, because of some reason, we can’t have a child, surrogacy is an option now.

You have never acted on a digital platform. Why?

I don’t think I got the right opportunity, as I really want to act in a web series. I feel digital is the future. 

Do you think internet boom will affect TV viewership? 

I feel people will watch television less, but they won’t stop watching all together. TV cannot be replaced.

What kind of shows do you like to watch on the web?

I watch a lot of reality shows and web series that are youth-oriented. Web shows are coming up with great youth-based content and I really love watching such shows. 

What kind of reality shows do you want to do? 

I would love to do reality shows related to cooking, adventure sports or travelling. 

Who is your favourite Bollywood dancer and why?

Madhuri Dixit; because nobody dances the way she does, she’s just pure magic on screen. 

What are your views on the show Bigg Boss? 

Bigg Boss was really good this year, very entertaining and most of the people I know have really enjoyed watching this season. However, I won’t be able to do Bigg Boss because one needs to be brave and I am not that confident. 

What about Khatron Ke Khiladi?

I would love to do a show like Khatron Ke Khiladi as I really love thrill in my life at all times.
