Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIS) is seeking applications for admission to its three-year full-time BA/BSC in Liberal Arts for the session 2018-22.  BA/BSc Liberal Arts is a full-time undergraduate program designed to empower students for dealing with complexity and diversity in rapidly changing society. Liberal Arts program covers a range of subjects wherein students have to be opted papers from foundation course, minor course and major course. Students are required to take foundation papers covering both compulsory and optional categories. They would also pursue their diverse academic interest by opting different subjects as major and/or minor. A student cannot choose major and minor from the same subject pool.

Eligibility: Pass in Class XII/ equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Criteria for Preparation of Merit list – Preference Wise:

I – Merit in Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT 2018)

II – Minimum 50% marks in Class 12

Health management

The International Institute of Health Management Research, New Delhi, invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management (PGDHM).  This two-year full-time programme is equivalent to an MBA degree of Indian Universities by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Eligibility:  Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Should have taken any one of the management aptitude test like CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT.  Candidates appearing at the final year examination of the bachelor's degree or waiting for the results of their final year degree examinations in 2018 may also apply. Selected candidates will be given provisional admission. They will be required to produce evidence of their graduation within two months of admission. The selection will be made strictly on merit basis.

MSc advanced mechanical engineering

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow has recently launched the new Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Placement programme. Applicants are invited from International students for the September 2018 entry.

This 18-month MSc course has been developed to provide high-calibre mechanical engineering graduates with an in-depth technical understanding of advanced mechanical topics. Students will gain the specialist and generic skills necessary to contribute effectively in developing company capabilities, with practical experience provided by the industrial placement.

The MSc in Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Placement has four optional specialist streams: Aerospace, Energy Systems, Materials, Power Plant Engineering

Fee- £23,440?  for international students for 2018/ 2019 entry.

Eligibility: Degree in engineering or physical sciences or equivalent professional qualification. Preferably a first or upper second-class honours degree, equivalent to a UK 2:1 degree.

IELTS - minimum overall band score of 6.5 (no individual test score below 5.5).
