NRI redress camp on February 20

JALANDHAR: Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today exhorted non-resident Indians (NRIs) to participate in a special camp being organised by the district administration on February 20 at the District Administrative Complex (DAC) to redress their grievances.

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today exhorted non-resident Indians (NRIs) to participate in a special camp being organised by the district administration on February 20 at the District Administrative Complex (DAC) to redress their grievances.

The DC said the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had decided to hold this unique camp in Jalandhar to ensure that the problems faced by NRIs were solved on the spot.

He said the single aim of the camp was to provide solutions to all problems of the NRIs under one roof. The camp would be held from 10.30 am to 1130 am at the meeting hall in the (DAC). To ensure on-the-spot resolution of the problems faced by these NRIs, the top brass of the police and civil administration would be deployed at the venue.

During the camp, all problems of NRIs would be discussed in the presence of the top brass of the administration and necessary directions would be passed to the officials for the immediate resolution of their issues.
