Jalandhar:Management of Sanskriti KMV School, performed a ‘yajna’ to seek the blessings of the Almighty and bless the students of Class X and XII for the forthcoming board examination. Chander Mohan, president, Arya Shiksha Mandal, and Rachna Monga, principal, were present on the occasion. Neerja Chander Mohan, member SKMV managing committee, Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Manager, Sanskriti KMV School and the principal extended their good wishes and blessings to the students. TNS

Educational tour 

Jalandhar: Students of Montgomery Guru Nanak Public School (MGN) visited IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. As many as 250 students joined a session on the subject ‘Environment Conservation in Technical Era’ during the visit. Dr Ekonkar Singh Johal, Deputy Registrar, Academics, welcomed students and school teachers. He apprised the students of the role of technology to save the environment and also shared about the university’s eco-friendly infrastructure. Rakesh Sood, landscape in charge officer, also interacted with the students and imparted practical knowledge to the students about the eco-agriculture system. TNS

Blood donation camp 

Jalandhar: A blood donation camp was organised at KCL Institute of Management and Technology (KCL-IMT). Around 30 students and faculty members donated blood on the occasion. Director Dr SK Sood appreciated the efforts of the students in organising the camp. Prof Sukhbir Singh Chatha, Director, Academic Affairs, and Dr SK Sood, Dr Y S Randhawa, Director, LKCE, Prof Raman Deol, Head, Management, and Prof Kamal Nain Sharma, Head, IT presented the token of thanks to Dr Gagandeep Singh and other members.
