JALANDHAR: The clash between two communities at Sofi village near Jalandhar Cantonment is all set to acquire political colour with Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha leaders Ashu Sampla and Robin Sampla holding a dharna demanding action against the accused here today.

The clash between two communities at Sofi village near Jalandhar Cantonment is all set to acquire political colour with Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha leaders Ashu Sampla and Robin Sampla holding a dharna demanding action against the accused here today.

On January 27, a clash took place when the Valmiki community protested against the removal of its flag from Government Anganwadi School. Stone were pelted and shops were vandalised.

Ashu Sampla, who is the nephew of Union MoS Vijay Sampla, represents the Ravidassia community, has been demanding action against the miscreants who were booked under Section 307 of the IPC but are on the run. — TNS
