Jammu, April 19
The Doda police late on Thursday evening seized bottles of liquor and over Rs 3.4 lakh in cash. The development came as the district was preparing to vote for Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency poll.
In a statement issued by Doda police, it was stated that based on a tip-off received through reliable sources, a police team of Gandoh, along with flying squad team of Assembly constituency-51 Bhaderwah headed by inspector Parvez Ahmed Khanday and naib tehsildar Mohammad Azeem, seized 88 bottles of liquor along with Rs 3,41,970 cash from the possession of one Susheel Kumar, a resident of Kuthyara in Gandoh.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered.
