Parmeet Sethi, who has carved a niche for himself as an actor and director, is back, after a gap, to direction with Life OK’s show Har Mard Ka Dard. He last directed a few episodes of popular show Sumit Sambhal Lega. Being an actor he loves to experiment but when it comes to direction, Parmeet mostly prefers the comedy genre. The excited actor-director says that it’s time to get into viewers’ home now with this rib-tickling comedy. He talks about the show and more.

How did the whole idea of directing Har Mard Ka Dard

come up?

Producers Deeya and Tony Singh approached me, and explained the whole concept; I found it very interesting and thought I would be able to add to it. So, I took the onus of being the director.

Is there any particular reason you take up comedy as a genre to direct always?

Comedy as a genre is something which I like and as far as possible, I would like to direct this genre only. It is something which comes naturally to me and I really enjoy it.

How has your experience of directing this show been?

The experience has been excellent; the actors are very talented. In fact, the entire team is very talented and positive.

What kind of feedback have you been getting?

The show went on air on Valentine’s Day and the team has been receiving positive feedback. Even women have been able to relate to the show.

So, what is next?

Right now my focus is on Har Mard Ka Dard. On the acting front, there are few things in the initial stages.

Any message for the viewers?

I just want them to see this show and enjoy.

How is your bonding with the

 star cast?

I could not have asked for a better cast; each and every one is perfect for the role and everyone has done justice to their part.
