Making Indian Diaspora proud and strong by organising first Secular All Religion Seminar in France


Paris, 01 March 2024 The first secular “All Religion Seminar” was organized in France. The seminar aimed at creating an open and respectful platform to discuss topics that were relevant for the Indian diaspora living in France. The meeting was attended by senior leaders and representatives of several community and associations of the Indian diaspora in France. Speakers from different associations unanimously agreed that given the geo political context as well as looking at India’s rising stature, it was high time that all Indians in France come together as ONE UNIT and work together for each other and for our motherland - Bharat. Main organizer of the event, Sardar Iqbal Singh Bhatti, President of Aurore- Dawn, recounted his experiences of serving humanity and how one person can help change the society. He further stated, “if each one of us decides to contribute one drop of effort and resources, we will soon become a sea of kindness”.

Sardar Gurdial Singh Khalsa Founder of Dashmesh Sikh Academy in Paris, stated how God is one and the almighty treats every human the same irrespective of the religion, caste, color they belong. He suggested that one must surrender to the supreme powers will which will eventually help humans realize the true voice & find our inner calm. He truly believed that such an initiative must continue and eventually prosper, if everyone from the Indian Diaspora decides to come together and build this community of like-minded people stronger

Avinash Mishra, President of Overseas Friends of BJP in France highlighted how India is one big shining example of ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam’ and India as a motherland has nurtured all religions and all religions continue to prosper in our country.

The seminar ended with praise as well as distribution of token of appreciation for exemplary community work done by some associations.

Some of the other dignitaries present during the seminar included Sh Joginder kumar, President of association F. A. F. I, Daljit Singh president of Association Indian in France, Mrs Kavita Singh ਵੀਸ president of bhajpa france unit, Parminder lal cailais from B. S. P, Ram Singh Maigra, president of Association (begumpura aid international).
