Panipat, April 22
Residents of RK Puram and relatives of an ITI teacher, who was missing in the Delhi parallel canal on Saturday evening, blocked traffic at the refinery bypass here on Sunday to protest attitude of the police.
Sanjay (27) slipped and fell into the canal when he was immersing ash of a ‘havan’ into the canal. Sanjay could not swim.Relatives sat on dharna, demanding a quick search. The police reached the spot and tried to pacify the protesters, but to no avail. — TNS
