Two hostels, no occupant!

Gurugram: Gurugram is home to the state’s only sports hostel, with a capacity of 65. A similar hostel has been built. But both hostels are lying unoccupied. “If both are made functional, players will be able to stay here and concentrate,” said DSO Parasram. “We do not have anything of this sort in my district and have to come here. I leave home around 3 am and reach the stadium by 5 am. I travel back the same day. My parents are poor. If we get hostel facility, players like me will be able to save,” said Yusuf Khan of Mewat. — Sumedha Sharma
