Chandigarh, July 19
The Haryana Government has invited nominations for the state award to teachers latest by July 31. A spokesman for the School Education Department said the categories of teachers for the state award are: A (Elementary)-PRT, head teacher, C and V, TGT and ESHM, and category B (Secondary)-PGTs, Head Master high school and principal.
He said academic efficiency, personal achievements, involvement in social life of community and academic and co-curricular achievements of children taught by a teacher would be considered while finalising his or her name for the award. — TNS
